THANK YOU!

THANKING OUR MENTORS, CHARITY PARTNERS AND FRIENDS of Madrinha Trust

On 5th July, we held our Summer Party at Locket’s London. After two years of cancelling our parties due to lockdown, we were so delighted to finally have a gathering of our mentors, trustees, partner charities and friends of Madrinha all finally together to celebrate what we do. It gave us a chance to share our news and thank everyone for keeping us all going and, more importantly, for keeping our mentees going through an unprecedentedly difficult couple of Covid years. A special mention goes to Robbie Macmillan the new CEO of Rwanda Action who came along to meet us all and to our out of town Mentors who made the special effort to join us too.

MADRINHA TRUSTEE MEETING

Tuesday 5 July 2022

We held our Summer Trustee Meeting at Lockets London, Smithson Plaza, London SW1A 1HA. This was followed by our Summer Party event and we would like to thank the Locket's team for their incredible kind hospitality and excellent service, food and wine and give a special mention to Sandrine, the manager, who hosted our event with utter perfection.

MADRINHA TRUST AWARD CEREMONY

Friday 1st July 2022 *via Zoom

Mentee Award Winners in 2022.

This wonderful initiative was created by the Career Build Team (CBT) in 2021 led by Will Dear (Trustee) and Mark Laverty (CBT/Mentor) and is now officially in its second year. These awards are a way for mentors to put forward their mentees for special recognition. These students have gone over and above to achieve personal and academic goals and have shown true leadership qualities as well.

Madrinha Trust believes that these awards are a wonderful way to elevate and bring attention to the mentees’ abilities, CVs and LinkedIn profiles. Plus giving any potential recruiters a point of interest to talk about at interview.

You can see a full list of winners here.

We want to particularly thank all our partner charities who make all this work possible. You can download a copy here. Print copies available on request please email: sj.heany@madrinha-trust.org.
