How We Work

Our mission at Madrinha Trust is to relieve poverty through the power of education and professional development support.

Since 2011, Madrinha has focused solely on providing full scholarships for tertiary education in South Africa, Africa, Nepal, Vietnam, the Caribbean and Palestine.

We provide a full cycle wrap-around scholarship programme. We believe this is truly taking our scholars out of poverty through the power of education, mentoring and career support, thus creating successful alumni.

In 2025 we are proud to announce the formation of MTAC, the Madrinha Trust Alumni Committee who are a dedicated team of 20 alumni helping Madrinha’s new graduates and scholars organise themselves into first entry level jobs with all the support needed.
