I grew up in Belgium and speak French and English fluently, plus good German & Dutch. I studied Maths at Imperial College, then did an MBA at Exeter. I spent about ten years working as a Bond Trader and then a Fund manager. I then returned to University to do a Msc in Computing at Imperial- I did not enjoy my job and wanted to focus on what I found most fulfilling.
Since then I have been working in IT, mainly as a data analyst. I have worked for Tesco plc and Herts county council in the UK, as well as a brief sting on a helpdesk for Randstad (the recruitment agency). About five years ago I emigrated to Quebec in Canada and I have since then been working for a company call Lou-Tec as a data analyst and project manager.
In my spare time I run the websites for the charity Test for Africa, and I look after my two wonderful dogs Kthulhu and Yakima. I live with my family in rural Quebec.
