Emma Marjorie Awuku-Sowah

My name is Emma Marjorie Awuku-Sowah. Born and raised in Accra-
Ghana, I received my education at KNUST my home country Ghana and
the University of Oxford in England. Biochemical Sciences and
Environmental Management were my respective focus areas. I also have a
postgraduate certificate in Education from the University of Dundee. I am
an environmental services practitioner and ecology researcher with
experience in QHSE systems management and environmental consulting.
I also have research experience in public and environmental health,
ecosystem services and human well-being.  Currently, I am a Doctoral
researcher at Lancaster University in England. I also teach ‘environmental
science’ and ‘biology for health science’ at the higher education level, and I
am particularly excited at the prospect of an opportunity to share my
knowledge and experiences. I enjoy the outdoors, watching movies and
writing short stories and look forward to exploring shared interests while
we embark on this journey together. I am always available to share ideas
on how best to improve and relate to the natural environment, which is my
    most significant passion.
