Meena qualified with a degree in medicine from the University of Nottingham in 2009. During medical school she was a mentor in the Widening Access to Medicine Program for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. She is a certified trainer for the International Federation of Medical Students association (IFMSA) and has run workshops at international conferences. She has carried out electives in Portugal, India, Australia and America. She has gained a lot of valuable experience working abroad and is keen to help others achieve their ambitions.
She is currently completing her specialist training and holds the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Academic Clinical Fellowship for Neurological Rehabilitation in London.
